Laborer (Skilled or Entry-Level)
A valuable opportunity to break into the industry with enormous potential to learn. We place our employees in positions of autonomy and competence, in accordance with their goals and skillsets. Candidates can expect exposure to framing, finish carpentry, concrete forming and finishing, masonry, painting, heavy equipment operation and more.
We want level-headed, kind, compassionate team players with exceptional drive, adaptability, fitness and character.
This is not your typical "assistant" job. You will never fetch coffee or take notes for executives. Instead, you will be asked to make immediate, proactive change in the company.
This position requires a mix of soft and hard skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, precise attention to detail and strong drive constitute the core requirements of this position.
While not essential, a technical specialty will greatly improve your chances of employment. This may include: web design, AP writing, bookkeeping, drafting, project management and estimating.
Serve as an internal communications liaison between senior leadership, the field workforce and clients
Recruit and screen potential employees
Assist in the creation of marketing materials
Delegate of tasks throughout the workforce, primarily through Buildertrend
Draft internal and external written communications
Upkeep company website
Communicate with and update clients on project progress
Residential associate architect
The candidate will have both good design and technical credentials, a, colleagues, suppliers and statutory bodies ensuring a broad variety of work on a daily basis. While initially reporting to a team leader, the candidate’s long-term goal should be to take ownership of an increasing number and complexity of projects to develop themselves in to a well-rounded architect and key member of the studio.
assist lead architects in projects currently on site
assist in preparing tender packages for projects currently at planning and design development stage
supporting the new business team in the preparation and coordination of bids and proposals
manipulating text, graphics and images – type setting etc.
altering images including graphs and drawings to be used in presentation material
assisting to maintain the database of project-related material
creating presentations to company standards
Skills and experience:
highly computer literate with solid experience of using the full Adobe Suite, Vectorworks and SketchUp
exceptional skills and experience in the preparation of high-quality packages, documents and graphics
