What: Faces is an event featuring joyful and engaging presentations by some of the outstanding people who enrich and inspire the Northwest. The excitement of their celebrity and the fun of an event executed artistically are matched memorably with a charitable Portland-centered cause. This year, we are pairing the Oregon Symphony with the OHSU Knight Cancer Challenge.
Making memories with your loved ones and friends is the best gift. While your ticket is a value for the experience, it is also doing a good thing and it is tax deductible!
Where: The events take place at The Giltner Mansion on NE Siskiyou. The Giltner family were among Portland’s philanthropic founders who worked to support the culture and arts in the community. The new owner and renovator of the Giltner’s home, John McCulloch, carries on the tradition of this house through these educational and cultural events.
Why: By throwing these parties celebrating Portland’s wealth of creative and unique minds, we hope to help build a sense of community through the interplay of local history, and local culture. We believe supporting worthy causes begins with fostering a sense of community- that’s why the proceeds from each event go to a cause we care about!
What to Expect: Last year, we were honored to host a quartet of house parties, spanning three days, featuring a variety of incredible people who help shape and represent Portland. See the flyer below for details! This year’s events promise to keep the excitement, fun and learning going. Stay tuned!
